✨️ welcome to merry maker 2026! ✨️ this year we'v

hi friends. this is the update. 🎁 we haven't done

hi friends. this is the update. 🎁

we haven't done it in four years, so we thought we'd close out 2026 with the newest edition of merry maker!

if you don't know what merry maker is - it is our holiday pop up shop (that we started in 2020)! we got through 3 seasons of it before regular collectives took over and we are sooooo excited to do it again. 🎅

think all the makers & gifts, festive events, more workshops, and the best community a holiday shop could ask for.

keep your eyes peeled for all the details and we'll give you a heads up when applications (& doors) open. 🎄

we had the best time yesterday at our reader field

we had the best time yesterday at our reader field trip! 📚

we made 4 stops around orange county -

● first stop: @thelabantimall to visit @thefleuria_oc! we had coffee from @nookcoffeebar & donuts from @goodtowndoughnutsusa and also checked out @penpals.stationery for national stationery store day.

● second stop: @arvidabookco & @morninglavendercafe! grabbed a lavender lemonade from morning lavender, walked through the rows of books at arvida. even made a pit stop to the old town tustin farmer's market where we saw our friends @meggies.bakes & @safina_tea!

● third stop: @localgemcollective! finally visited jazmin! they have so many cute makers including our friend @shoptruthandstyle and a few with bookish goods including @thestudiplanco and @thereadingnookstore. they also had a cute sonny takeover trinket pop up.

● final stop: @heartboundbookshop! they have all the romantic reads for you! all the tropes - enemies to lovers, second chance, forced proximity...all the things! they even had an author signing with @yourfairysquadmother and super cute bookish accessories too.

in between stops, we chatted books and won bookish raffle prizes.

Dearest readers,

We're taking a Field Trip to some of our favorite spots in Orange County on Saturday, August 1 and we want you to join us!

Each ticket includes:

● private transportation
● snacks & sips
● a tote for your wares
● reader swag
● raffle tickets for fun prizes
● a good time!

Field Trip Stops:

Our journey starts at 10 am and ends at 3 pm with plenty of time for you to peruse and mingle. Exact details will be emailed the week of the Field Trip.
